Christian character goes on quietly, unseen, unrecorded except in Heaven. So the Sunday School has given its teaching and helpfulness and love; so the Church has preached, and warned, and instructed, and trained, and counseled, and given fellowship and love all these eighty years. The full result only the "Lamb's Book of Life" records, and only eternity will tell. So the Church sows on in confident certainty that the Lord of the Harvest keeps ceaseless watch, and that the seed will grow and bear fruit unto eternal life, and to the glory of our God and His Christ. May His presence ever bless Baden Methodist Episcopal Church.
Pastors. The following is the list of preachers in charge. The year gives the Conference at which the appointment was made. In 1876 the Conference changed its time of meeting from Spring to Fall-and so in that year there was a Spring Conference and a Fall Conference. Before that year, it had met in the Spring, and after that year it met in the Fall, except in 1932 and 1933, when it met in June. Where the name or the year is enclosed in parenthesis, it means the preacher was a "supply" or a "supply" for the years marked. A "supply" preacher is one who is not an "effective" or active member or the annual Conference, and is appointed by the District Superintendent and not the Bishop.
